Examination Format
The ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing examination takes place at the end of the course. It is a one hour, closed book, multiple choice question examination. 40 questions. 4 possible answers to each only one right answer). Pass mark is 26/40.

1. Take Exam at one of our training centers
You can take your exam at one of our UK based training centres by contacting us on info@trainingdeals.co.uk or giving us a call on 0800 0355 832. Unfortunately, this feature is exclusive only to the training centers in UK. Please note we require 7 working days’ notice to schedule your exam for you.
When you are ready to take the exam, mail us on info@trainingdeals.co.uk and provide us a date and time to book your exam. We just require a 10 days’ notice from the date you plan to take your exam.

Remote Proctor technology gives you the freedom to take your web-based exam at a time and location convenient to you. It saves you the hassle of travelling to exam centers and gives you the opportunity to fit your exam to your own time schedule. Once you are ready to take the exam, mail us a date and time on info@trainingdeals.co.uk leaving a minimum of 10 working days from the date you wish to take the exam. We would book your online exam with BCS following which you will receive a mail from BCS carrying your login credentials for the exam, instructions on how to set up your system for the exam and contact details for technical support.

What is a Global Live Session?
The primary purpose of the GLS (Global Live Session) is to bridge the gap between classroom training and online self-learning. It aims to provide you with an opportunity to interact with the tutors through an online webinar platform. The live sessions would be conducted for about an hour and would be divided into two sessions of about half an hour each. In the first session, the tutor would cover important elements in the syllabus and provide references to the manual and examination tips. The second session is allocated for you to ask any questions related to the syllabus and examination.

When am I eligible to apply for extra time for my exam?
Candidates can apply for extra time directly with BCS if:-
· They have a permanent or temporary disability, or
· English is not their first language.
For additional time due to a permanent or temporary adjustment, download and fill the Reasonable Adjustment Request Form [Click to Download] and mail it to eprofessional@hq.bcs.org.uk. The standard time extension for BCS examinations is 25% upon submission of a suitable medical certificate confirming your disability.
If English in not your first language download and fill Extra Time Request Form [Click to Download] and mail it to eprofessional@hq.bcs.org.uk. BCS reserves the right to contact you and request evidence for English not being your first language.
