Overview

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course is for candidates looking to gain knowledge and skills required to become a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt over the span of 5 days. Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that is structured around the collective team effort to enhance performance by methodically removing waste. It encompasses parts of Lean’s waste elimination and Six Sigma’s focus on reducing defects to do so, hence its' name. Candidates will learn about DMAIC. Each belt in Lean Six Sigma describes the candidates’ level of understanding and the level at which they can be applied to.

Our course will prepare you fully to become a Six Sigma Green Belt practitioner over a five day period. We’ll go through all aspects of Six Sigma, with our expert teachers coaching you in the best ways to measure quality, improve efficiency and eradicate defects in your development processes. More Information

Originally developed by Motorola engineer Bill Smith back in 1986, Six Sigma is an approach to product development and quality control aimed at minimising defects and striving to provide near perfect results every time. It is a customer focused strategy designed to improve the way you, as a business practitioner, improve what you do - keeping the customer happy and keeping your profit margins as wide as possible through maximising efficiency. With the Six Sigma process, there are various roles that need to be fulfilled. The role of the Green Belt is as a (typically part time) project leader who is well versed in Six Sigma techniques and is responsible for facilitating project execution and ensuring that the work is done in accordance with the basic Six Sigma principles. Our course will enable you to become a fully qualified and able Six Sigma Green Belt, allowing you to play a key role in improving every project you take part in.
